I was born and raised in Des Moines Iowa
I graduated from Hoover High School. I was working on my degree in criminal justice when 9/11 happened and when I finished getting my degree I joined the United States Army where I was enlisted as an MP
I was stationed with the 10th Mountain Division
where I deployed 2 times to Iraq. I was medically retired and moved back to Iowa with my family.
I enrolled at DMACC where I earned a certificate in airbrush and took several art and photography classes.
Art has always been a big part of my life. It is something I enjoy which gives me peace and serves as a form of therapy for me.
I use different mediums such as, pencil, pen, oil, acrylic and airbrush.
I repurpose old bibles, magazines, books and comics. I put the pages of the books on canvases, then do my artwork on them. I also do some photography which is something new to me.
I don't like to stick to just one subject matter in anything because the world is full of possibilities so why limit myself to just one subject matter.
I believe God gave me this gift of Art for a reason.
We live in a world of such negativity and frustration, I hope my art can bring at least some measure of enjoyment, happiness and peace to people's lives.

I encourage you to look through my galleries and see if anything strikes a chord or inspires an idea. Though many of the pieces here are available for sale, I am always honored to have someone come to me with an idea they have to see if I can achieve it for them.
